Lensbaby Announces New Sol 45 Lens

Lensbaby has announced the Sol 45mm tilt lens, available for Pentax and 4 other mounts for just $199.

It is just my opinion... I feel it is waste of money to get such a lens, there are many ways to produce 'distortion' but hard to produce a perfectly sharp photo, so I would not spent a penny on this kind of lens except for fun with a much cheaper alternative.

Kind of neat. No more spreading Vaseline on your front element to get the effect. Add lens to possibilities cart.

Initial impressions are good. It's not nearly as sharp as the Velvet 56, but in pixel shift mode it can help squeeze additional sharpness that really puts it on par. I think I will either get an extension tube or macro rings for this baby.
