Text of Subtitles (captured direct from the video):
At PENTAX, we don't intentionally remove features or functions
from our standard-class models
just to tempt our users to purchase higher-class models
That's why we equip the PENTAX KF
with an optical viewfinder featuring a glass pentaprism

We applied weather-resistant construction,
even in the lenses included in the kits,
to improve their durability and dependability during shooting in the rain

We also incorporated the double e-dial system and
upgraded custom-shooting functions

We've designed this standard-class model
so it will remain a joy to use over many years
To symbolize the joy of photography using the optical viewfinder,
and the fun of active outdoor shooting in the field
we named this standard-class model PENTAX KF,
by applying the initial letter of two key words: Finder and Field
Does this KF retain the same "green" occasionally problematical solenoid utilized in the earlier K-30, -50 and -70 models?? If it does, would it be from the same manufacturer as the earlier mentioned models here?

No way to know until someone takes one apart, but I seriously doubt it. It would be seriously ill-advised, after all the issues with the previous models.

Pentax seems to have finally gotten a version of the solenoid that works; one benefit of the KF is that - unlike with the K-70 - users won’t have to determine date-of-manufacture to guess whether it has the ‘good’ solenoid.
