This is great, but more than a cool looking new body, I want a camera with better iso performance. If I see Pentax moving toward better ISO then I will stay with Pentax, but now it does not look like they care about it.

I like the look of the titan K20D but if that really is the only difference I may have to switch brands...
In sept I'll be at uni and I'm already looking for kit eqiuivilent of canons 5dmkII but I love pentaxs lens's

I currently have a k10d and really need something with better iso quality up to 6400 and faster autofocus and video would be usefull too

the announcement of a Japan only special edition (which Pentax has done quite often in the past) as far as I am concerned has no bearing on the upgrade to the K20. other recent factors maybe, but this no.
Does this mean the menus will be in Japanese?

Real Titanium?

Tha color is great, much better that the limited silverish "Asahi" K10D.
However, I would hate to see some poor paint job being worn out by use (or by my ring) leaving the underlying black plastic exposed. I hope it is real titanium.
What I would like most however is to see the black rubber that covers the grips, replaced by some dark (tabac) soft leather. That would make it much more classy.

Looks are nice as is this camera - but not what I buy cameras for - it is the optics and image capturing abilities. I prefer a new FF, not a silver APS for more $$$, as I love the smaller sensor in regard to my telephoto's but I lost all my wides which are now close to normals - heck even the 180 degree fisheye is barely a wide. How about a body with an inter-changeable sensor APS / FF that is upgradeable and a 300mm F2.8 with a SDM in it so that AF hunts less. Modular design concepts worked with computers - why not cameras?

Eww! Who would want the olive k-m? I'm a fan of collector's items, but that's pretty ugly! Looks like it belongs in the military!
