PENTAX ANNOUNCES AFFORDABLE GAMESEEKER II RIFLE SCOPES WITH HIGH-END OPTICS

News update from the official Pentax website:

GOLDEN, Colorado (December 16, 2009)…PENTAX Imaging Company has announced new models with higher quality optics in the affordable Gameseeker® line of rugged, full-featured rifle scopes and dot sights all priced under $160.00 USD.

Featuring one inch, one piece tube construction, the PENTAX Gameseeker II rifle scopes offer fully-multi-coated optics with PentaBright™ Technology designed specifically to provide a bright, high contrast image at dawn and dusk. Designed to be extremely durable and fully waterproof for the most extreme hunting situations, each scope is nitrogen filled to prevent internal fogging of optical elements. Every Gameseeker II scope offers high quality, finger adjustable windage and elevation turrets for accurate, repeatable results and features the bullet drop compensating Precision Plex reticle.

Along with the new Gameseeker II rifle scope line, PENTAX announced the new Gameseeker HS20 Dot Sight. The HS20 features a 5 MOA dot, an ideal size for most shooters, as well as 11 brightness settings for various shooting conditions and a battery that provides 72 hours of continuous use. Also featuring PentaBright Technology, the new dot sight offers continuous windage and elevation adjustments and a sharp, clear image that is parallax free for accurate target acquisition. The Dot Sight is available now and is priced at $59.00 USD.

"Our objective for the PENTAX Gameseeker II line is to deliver rugged, full-featured products at remarkably affordable prices that will endure hunting adventures for many years to come," said Pat Lytle, sport optics sales support manager, PENTAX Imaging Company.

The Gameseeker rifle scopes will be available in January 2010 at the following pricing in the following variable powers:

• 3x-9x 40mm Matte (available in Precision Plex $99.00 USD and Penta-Plex $99.00 USD)
• 4x-12x 40mm Matte (available in Precision Plex $129.00 USD and Penta-Plex $129.00 USD)
• 3x-9x 50mm Matte Precision Plex ($129.00 USD)
• 2.5x-10x 56mm Matte Precision Plex ($159.00 USD)
• 4x-16x 50mm Matte Precision Plex ($149.00 USD)
