A flower for mom
Lens: 18-55mm with Raynox DCR-250 Camera: K110D ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/60s Aperture: F6.7

I have used the Raynox today a lot and I got this kind of photo. I think it's a little bit dark but otherwise I like it. I added a little sharpness.
Btw I gave this flower to my mom on Mother's Day. She liked it

Thank you!

Interesting idea, but since the sharp zone in the shot is so narrow, there isn't much to hold my attention and the background flower brightness is just enough to keep making my eye travel there and thus diminish what I think should be the center of interest. I think the color is lovely and I think a brighter image would lose the mood. Could you have stopped down more to expand DOF?

As a retired Pro who shoots macro flora all the time this is probably one of the finest macros I have seen on Pentax forum,Photography is subjective and this is unique.

African Daisies are great subjects, and your shot does them proud.
I love these kinds of shots.
Nothing to criticize.
Keep shooting....keep posting.........

The framing is inspired! I really like the bg flower and how it draws a line across the frame. The darkness is great too.

A little bit different that makes it intresting. I really like the colour and framing. Might look good with a black border?

^ I think so too!

Thank you all! That picture is one of my favourites at the moment.

I have been quite busy lately but I hope soon I'll be able to spend more time here. Fortunately summer is coming and all the bugs and flowers too!

I like the picture pretty much. But why dont you brighten it just a bit? You want it darker like this? I thing little more light and perhaps touch more of contrast would make it really cool looking.

I really think a b&w conversion would be a cool look too... Just my 2 cents!

Thanks for your nice words jezeks and alhpro.
I will try to brighten it a bit and make a b&w version when I'll be able to use the other computer.

IMHO the b/w is FLAT and uninteresting whereas the original has more dimension and dreamy mystical look
