I shot this photo today. What does the forum think? Any suggestions? Also Please rate this from 1-10 with 1 being the worst and 10 being the best! I am thinking of using this photo for a contest. Thanks

rate? I would say 6

That is not much, I guess, but here is why:

1) it seems to me that the background is too prominent and it interfears with the subject.

2) the sharpnes is not really good - mainly the sharpest thing should be the head I believe, while here it is rather the body and the head is out of focus.

3) I dont like the composition so much. I thing it could be more dynamic mainly. (not to place the head of the dragonfly into the middle of the pic maybe...?)

I like the colours :-)
