The little green and blue spots behind her are distracting. Overall, a very cold, dull lighting to her face.

ditto K-9's comment. I do love her smile, but as a portrait it's not quite good. How was it lit?

Natural light in fairly deep shade.
No PP has been done on the photo.

With such a nice smile, you need to do it justice with some better quality lighting, even if through a window if you're not keen on supplemental lighting. Warm up the skin tones with a boost in temperature and get closer for a tighter frame.

i'm sorry, i'm just bored and have nothing better to do with my time right now

had another play round with the proportions of the eyes, think I made them look a little more realistic, added a couple of reflections to the eyes too

I don't really know why I did this, I think I just want to show people what's possible in post with a bit of time

I think it comes out a little dark, but ps could remedy this.

I think the angle is aggressive and if her head had been turned 5 to 10 degrees right it would have been a more interesting shot.

Eyes: those are her eyes when she smiles, I'd keep them as such.

Did you try a back and white to see if anything else comes forward?

just so we both know, these were done very quickly- so complete accuracy was not really high on my agenda...

just in case you think i'm bad at photoshop or something

the more I look at the original, the more I prefer it tbh
