Long way home
Lens: Pentax 18-55 DA Camera: k20D Photo Location: Ugljan, Croatia ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/250s Aperture: F16

When I took it I thought (and still do) that it's a bit cheesy. But besides that is there something wrong with it. Or better yet, can I do anything to improve it?

The only problem I see (apart from being poorly cropped around the edges) is that the sun is so close to the upper edge. This is still a very nice photo, however- 4.5/5 Excellent framing of the canoer and the sunset.

I agree with Adam that having the sun a bit farther from the upper edge would be helpful.

Also, if it had been possible to place the canoe farther from the center of the image, that might have been a bit more dynamic. (It also would have changed the placement of the stream of sunlight on the water; however, and not necessarily for the better.)
