Very nice, except that I would have liked to see more of the foreground (trees) as well as a level horizon. 4/5.

Nice! Interresting gesture the lowermost bird does, like it was looking at the other bird...

I would put the horizon straight first.
Then crop a piece from the bottom, so that you don't see the trees anymore.
(It's either more trees or no trees at all in this case imho)
Perhaps it's worth trying: cut off a piece from the top too.

Seems like those gulls where chasing insects!
Very beautiful photo!

I'm not a big fan of BIF, but this one sure grabs my attention. Very excellent capture. I too would crop out the trees, and level the horizon, but otherwise, it is near perfect to me. I did use Light Machine to very gently lighten the dark areas in both birds, and it made a slight improvement to my eyes. Very subtle, but noticeable.
Regards!.....Hope that will hang somewhere, it deserves a nice frame and location.

Nice!

I would like the photo a bit more trees and less sky...

Or, not trees at all, as it was taken now.

Thanks for all critics. I agree with critics about trees but I had to keep trees in composition because of the nearer sun reflection on the ocean. If I would crop trees, that reflection is going to fade either. Also under hard light circumstances, I had to shoot fast moving and fighting seagulls. For sure... It could be much better than this of course...

This is a really cool shot. How did you get the detail in the birds with the sun behind them? Light is an amazing thing.
