Indoor Sunset
Lens: Kit DA L 18-55mm Camera: Pentax K-x ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/350s Aperture: F4.5

Took this while I was bored and itching for some photo but the weather was a bit blah, so I did some still life at home. It was originally just me playing around with under/over exposing stuff and seeing how it affects it as opposed to normal (or what the camera is telling me is normal) exposure.

18mm

A very creative and successful composition, and good lighting. Particularly successful here are the dark areas, which are dark enough to be silhouettes, but not entirely back.

The only think I don't like here is the somewhat distorted perspective (blame the lens), and I would have also liked to see more of the table in the frame. 4/5.

Thanks! The lighting/slight underexposure was what I was going for here, so it's great to hear that it works. Haha actually I was trying to minimize the amount of table; there're tons of papers on it from both my sister's schoolwork as well as some of my mom's stuff. Kinda took away from the mood

I like the fact that is kind of minimal... Its a neat and nice photo, with simple lighting and simple decor...
