People Portrait trials

Way over the top skin smoothing and orange tint... unless that's what she actually looks like!

Kind of odd catch-light. Would prefer the eyes to be brighter in general.

The white line through the head is especially noticeable given the strong contrast.

Some lens flare (?) artefact in #4.

Nice focus and detail.

Pose #2 looks the most natural to me.

Yeah, too much post, a little less Portrait Professional perhaps...

I'm assuming this young model has olive skin and is portrayed reasonably accurately here.
Having said this #1 and #4 offer the best framing/pose and are good as they are.
The others are a little off with composition (low and central in #2 and shoved too far right in #3) and pose (less interesting/engaging than 1 and 4).
Otherwise, not a bad result for a single light source.
Better still would be off camera diffused flash.

You need to offset the background with her hair color. Her black hair just blends in too much with the black background.
