Sports Bike race pan blur

I have tried a close crop of this shot. I targeted the middle guy, as he's a friend of mine. I cropped out some sky above and some pavement to the right. Is this too close?

Also, can this be improved or enhanced in PP? (none right now)

Looks very good to be- if anything, I'd crop or clone out the blurred pole near the left edge.

An excellent attempt at a difficult shot.
The image as is is OK, though if you had a chance to retake it, I'd suggest bumping ISO up a stop or two but panning just as fast to maintain the dynamism of the shot whilst getting the subject in a little sharper focus. Well done.
