The title gives me an idea of what you were thinking of when you tripped the shutter, but I'm not getting the feelings you may have experienced at the time of taking the photo - that's what this image lacks: the sense of evoking emotions and being visually transported to that time and place to experience these feelings.

The subject matter behind the fence is confusing and cluttered, and the fence is in itself ordinarily framed. This shot does appear to be more like a snapshot and as such lacks soul. Consider the thought about trying to translate your emotions into a composition that can provoke the same feelings in the viewer, and you may find your results improving considerably.
