I think it looks pretty good, but I might try and bring the highlights down a bit in shadows and highlights if you use photoshop. It might be able to keep the clouds from looking blown out.

It's a nice shot, but maybe you could have moved very close to the boat and used that as a foreground object to create a little more impact, with the lighthouse, in sharp focus also, in the background.

Ok thanks,

yes indeed is a bit over highlighted in the sky...

Yes, a closer pic, might have created a nice blend

Another vote here for a wider angle shot from up close to the boat.
The flatter the perspective, the less impressive the landscape is here IMO.
That time of day was also not on your side for a decent result.
Consider the late afternoon for more striking colours and better quality light.

So in general it would be better to somehow connect such two items, one covering a bit the other) in order to create a better sense of depth of field?
This is what you mean by flatter perspective?

Well at that moment the scenery was very nice, blue sky, some clouds, nice sun... but of course these don't make the nice photo...

Yes, that's a good idea, and in order to broaden perspective, choosing a much wider angle focal length with the subject distances from the lens in vast contrast to each other helps in creating this sense of DoF.
