Park bench
Lens: 18-55 Camera: Kx Photo Location: back yard waco tx ISO: 1600 Shutter Speed: 1/750s Aperture: F5.6 

What do you think of this image?
Any and all aspects are welcome.



Post processing was done with Pentaxs included software. Don't remember exactly what I changed just played with it until I liked it.

I like the overall composition here, as well as the choice of sepia. I think the "shooting though" gives the photo good symmetry, considering that there are also leaves on the other side of the bench. What's missing, IMO, is a little bit of contrast. Why not crank it up a little?

I guess I should have worded my response better. Or asked the question differently.

Is the second picture a proper example of what was meant for increasing contrast? Or was it too much? Not enough?

I would say the second one has too much contrast; you've lost some definition in the metal supports of the chair. I would burn the rock a smidge, and dodge the metal supports.

I'm not particularly fond of the OOF leaves in the foreground; it's distracting to me but I see why you did it. I personally would rather see the rest of the chair legs.
