I haven't been able to shoot again in my "Studio', but have been reviewing my old shots in general for poses I like etc.....as well as those of others....I love to view photos! Trying to learn what is and isn't in Portrait shooting......
I am noticing that what draws me most often in portrait type shots is almost always the eyes........Are you guys in agreement?

Here is Mrs Rupert with one of the students in her Deaf Class. I'd tell you what she was saying, but I have no idea.....and Mrs Rupert has no idea what F2 is either.......I bet you can relate?

BTW- This is a great old lens, I seldom use it, but love the rich colors!

People are conditioned to look at eyes, so naturally we gravitate towards them in portrait photos. When focusing it is usually recommended to focus so that eyes are sharp.

As for this image, it's nice, I would check the colors though--I believe the white balance is off, has a greenish cast, my guess from flourescent lighting.

Thanks! I knew that......well, not really! As for the color cast, I am aware of it, but always liked it just like it is. My preference is a little yellow....I am s well known for that in some places! LOL
