I'm not quite getting the reason for this shot, so perhaps you can help me by articulating the objective(s).

The colors are not as striking as they might have been on location. The color cast of the lighting doesn't seem very pleasant or artful.

Having one or more persons in this frame (perhaps in the doorway, or on the street) would add more interest.

Thanks, that was pretty much my impression as well, but some friends said they liked it. Wanted to get an unbiased opinion.
