Learned a new trick
Lens: Vivitar 35-105 f3.5 TX mount Camera: K7 Photo Location: Home ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/500s

Any of you who look at my photos in these posts know I'm always bitching about my closeup nemesis, the Wind. Well today I tried something different. Focus trap. Get close, let the damn flower sway until it trips the shutter with the catch in focus. It sort of restricts the angles one can use but it works, certainly a lot better than cursing the wind. Still a slight bit of motion blur but nothing like on the 100s of photos I've deleted because of it.

The photo was taken with a Vivitar TX mount 35-105 f3.5, probably at f5.6. Not too shabby for a $20ish lens (came with another lens and the mount, shipped for $42).
