Flower
Lens: DA 18-55 Camera: KX ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/350s Aperture: F5.6

This is my first submission for critique as I just received my KX a couple of days ago. The only post processing done is a crop, which kept the flower in the same spot as I shot. I also hit it with an unsharp mask. Overall, the image is the same as I shot. So with that, lay it out for me.

The focus is not on the flower that you want... and it is also a bit overexposed so you lose the details; try to get the focus first, and then try to get correct exposure (use spot metering and Av mode). Also, try to stay away from the sun, take flowers in the shade is much easier to handle.
