I still have to photoshop out some distracting details, but just want a consensus of which version is better. Lights on or off?

I prefer the second one... I like the contrast btw. the forefront B/W and the background colors + the fact that the light has a source other than the bulbs seems rather interesting.

It doesn't look like the lights are on in the first photo, just dirty

I like the second one. The bulbs don't look to be in sharp focus.

Yea, I think if they were actually on it would look better then a photoshop version
