This is my lovely wife.

I had for some time in my plans to dress her in a traditional costume (Romania - Europe ) and she finaly accepted.

She hold in her hand a traditional can used for wather, wine .....etc.

I hope u like it.

Very nice portrait. (Felicitari!) ) I like both, but in the colored one the face has a kind of pronounced orange tone... Also, it would have been nice to have more of the costume in the frame. (A better crop would leave at least the right elbow, if not both hands, intact, IMO.)

I find the placement of the jug (can) is a bit awkward, and I 'm not sure what her left arm is doing.

Both portraits are lovely. I agree that a vertical shot would have included more of the traditional clothing, which from what I can see of it, is beautiful. You also have a beautiful wife.

I like your series very much. I appreciate your national dress and I am happy that you are proud of it also and want to display it. I think that women look lovely in the dress of their culture. Our modern world has taken much away from our valuable cultural heritage which we cannot forget. Thank you for your very nice photos of your wife in her cultural dress. Keep up the good work. Your photography is of excellent quality.

I loke the contrast of the first (BW) picture. Good shot.

The first thing you always should do is look at the lines of a photo to determine which way to turn the camera to get the tightest pic without useless space or distracting details. Crop the first shot vert. and see how it looks.

Nice portrait. I prefer the B&W version because the background is so much less distracting than in the color version.

Toss up for me...I like the BW and the Color. Ole is right about the color background, but it is not all that distracting when a lovely girl holds your attention. I'd like to see the next to last one (side profile) in BW..... although the color is very nice.
Best Regards!
