I suggest cropping out the sky on both sides transforming the image from a landscape to a poitrait aspect. It is always good to get the eyes. Were you using a tripod?

The bird and tree don't look sharp to me against that heavy blue sky. I like the contrast though. I would make it a square photography, bij cropping it and keeping the bird and tree in the middle surrounded by the sky.

It was hand held so not as sharp as I would have liked, plus was not my best lens, took quite a few shots and waited for flight of course right after I walked away he took to flight and missed it, but I know where he lives now... Thanks for the thoughts...

Indeed it's no good for lack of clarity and sharp focus.
Retake it with focus spot on, considering stopping down to f/8 and framing the shot to get the bird to cover most of the image.
