I far prefer the color version. The b&w just looks too harsh - the highlights are blown out and the shadows have lost detail - so maybe toning down the contrast on the b&w would help it. It's also just a teensy bit too sharp on the man.

I definitely prefer the colour one. The contrasty BW does something nasty to his skin close to his chin and just doesn't communicate much to me.
