Hi Fearview,

That is a very nice image, but I would level the horizon if nothing else.

The vignette is a bit much on the left, so I would crop off some off that side.

And no, I would not brighten the foreground.

Cheers!

I like that one a lot, very appealing shot. Foreground looks fine to me as is......that cropping on the left idea is a good one.
Nice shooting for sure!
Best Regards!

Foreground looks good in silhoutte. I agree with the observation that there is too much vignetting in upper left part. May be you can de-vignette it, instead of cropping. I like the composition.

cheers,

Abhi

I like this photo, the foreground in silhouette is very effective. The vignetting in the upper left is problematic, and may have different fixes.

Good job.

Fine colour graduations and apt vignetting.
The form of the foreground lends reasonably well as a silhouette. No need to supplement light unless you wanted to change the dynamics of the shot to feature the colours and textures of the foreground as well as the background.

Nice colors. I would see if a square image would be pleasing to your eye. The square form factor is a bit unusual, so that could compliment an already interesting image.

IMO, square is the way to crop this kind of scene. However the sun, again IMO, is too bright for a sunset and the sky colour is off. Next time try a number of bracketed shots and include some with spot metering the sun. You can also then try different formats.

oh i see.. the horizon level little bit slanting because.. at the second day of my holiday i lost my tripod. so it all on hand shot. big mistake. i should get a cheaper tripod instead. thank for the tip. i dont know what causing the left side picture have darker vignette?

picking up a foreground is always a problematic for me. i alwasy get a confused when i have to pick one. sunset scene like this happened so fast. sometime there is no time for thinking any theory.
