Very nice, a combination of a candid and a portrait, BW works well with this :-) [edit: as for the critique bit, maybe crop off some of the space on the left?]

Great shot, I disagree about having to crop, it's perfect as it is.

The resemblance between her and your son is amazing indeed!
As for the photo: I like it, the crop works for me, as well as the B&W conversion. Probably I would
soften the skin a little. And I would get rid of the very bright white spot in her right eye (so left on
the photo). It's a bit distracting now.... (at least for me, but hey, I won't place it in a frame on the
side-table....)

Thank You all. I actually liked this as a color version more than BW, but the shutter speed was so fast that it caught the change of phase in the fluorescent lights and the top part of the frame was very yellow.

Rense - yes, he's got her eyes and lips, but my character I tried softening the skin a bit and this is the result. I felt like any more started to look artificial.

That is a very nice "candid" shot of a lovely lady. The BW works very well to me, but I might like to see the color?
Get these shots now, as they get older they are very hesitant about any close up shots.....it's those lines and wrinkles that begin to show up with age. I got this one a couple of years back of Mrs Rupert, I always called it "Lipstick Lady" , and just caught her off guard as I was playing with a lens/flash and walked in on her.......Someday I will be even more glad I have it, and you will be with yours too.
Best Regards!
Rupert

This is the favorite activity of my wife and I have learnt that any shots (candid) taken during this activity are usually liked by her .

Good candid shot, cheers.

You've got a pretty wife, Voytech.
The white spot in her eye doesn't bother me and the composition looks good to me.
Personally I like the skin a bit softer, but overall it's a good shot.

Wait until your reads this - you're gonna get slapped.

"What do you mean 'Getting pretty'? Don't you think I'm pretty already?"

Kind of like answering that question: "Do these pants make my butt look big?".
