Landscape What's wrong with this shot?

Thank you all very much for your responses. As we all know, photography is a dynamic art and we all strive to improve. I have had a few of my photographs accepted in PPG and I just wanted to know what you people felt were the reasons for this rejection.
As someone has said above, the scene was very pretty when I was there and looking at it with my eyes but unfortunately it is not reflected in the shot.

the new crop definitely is better, i can see a contrast between the warm grass/straw fence and the white cold icy feels, lovely!
