And yet another chickadee

From this afternoons "photo shoot" . I pay my models bird feed.

I would hazard a guess that you were at near maximal focal length on your telephoto, and if so, your shutter speed was too slow for a razor sharp image, which this one needed to look better. Unfortunately you had no further latitude with ISO, so your only other option is to get in closer and zoom out to reduce the chances of camera shake. Unfortunately, due to the high ISO, there are washed out details and flat contrast, along with some significant colour noise all over the background.

Hey Ash, that's pretty much what I said to Tess when I posted it. A little more sunlight would have made a huge difference. I see him often in that spot, maybe I'll get another chance when the sun is bright, like maybe even sunshine. When there's good light I go somewhere. When there isn't I shoot in the back yard. But as a back yard shot, I still like it.
