Very nice. I think it would make a good semi-panoramic image as well by cropping the bottom to the slight notch near the middle of the foreground slope.

Great colors and use of the undercast.

The texture on the snow closest to you adds some nice detail up front to help pull the eye around the image.

Great colors in the sky!

What a nice shot! Way, way cool. If I had more than two thumbs, you'd get more than two thumbs up!

99% UP!!! Good one, fantastic light.

Remaining 1%: just a bit of tonal correction, and less foreground to put more emphasis on the actual landscape (subject to discussion, but this is what I would have done):

Thumbs up to the original. Sorry Ivan but the tonal corrections seem to have made everything way too purple on my monitor anyway. That is a gorgeous shot marbi.

Thank you everybody for the feedback and tips! I'm really glad, that the photo is catchy.

This view was captured on the edge of mountain pasture few minutes before the sunrise (on the opposite side).

Yeah, I tend to agree. Although I did not change color balance or saturation just the tonal range with levels, it in turn increased contrast and apparent color saturation. Perhaps a bit of desaturation should have been applied after correcting the levels.

Martina, well done.
A fine capture.
But why the f/3.5?
Did you not have a tripod with you?
Even if not, you had room for a further stop down without introducing camera shake: something like f/4.5-5 and shutter speed 1/30 or even f/5.6 and 1/15 sec would have just added another level of sharpness to this excellent image.
Otherwise the original is indeed nice - a touch less magenta hue on the ice would make a significant difference to the rendering and improve highlight texture. Good result.

Ash, thanks, I appreciate your very constructive comments! No, I didn't have a tripod with me.
And about toning - I was playing with that, but chaniging tones or selective colours decreased contrast, that I didn't want to loose.
About F stop will have in mind next time!
