Which one is better?
Lens: Pentax DA-L 55-300mm Camera: Pentax K-x Photo Location: Backyard ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 2s Aperture: F5.8

The moon was passing by the star cluster Pleiades tonight. To capture the dark part of the moon and the stars I used a 2 second exposure. To capture the bright part of the moon I used a 1/200 second exposure. I combined the first one with just the bright part of the moon. In the 2nd one I tried to combine it with the dark part of the moon. Which of these looks more realistic? 1, 2, or do they both look fake?

First one.
I agree that the 2nd one doesn't look natural.
