High Contrast
Lens: Pentax 28-200 Camera: K200D Photo Location: middlecreek PA ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/4000s Aperture: F32 

Just wondering what everybody thinks about this since I don't normally shoot at the sun. For some reason the pic I adjusted in Photoshop Elements will not load. It says security could not be verified.

I think you have a lot of dust on your sensor, or your lens. Top right, top left, lower middle.

As for the image itself, you cut off the lower right bird, may be better off cropping it out entirely. Generally I find these images work better at a lower angle to the earth, toward sunrise or sunset, to add context.

Suggest you keep playing around with it, you'll find something you like.

I like this idea a lot, but maybe this wasn't the best "moment." The birds just don't seem to be arranged in an aesthetically pleasing way, so perhaps a crop would help?
