Lens: m42 135 2.8/ extension Camera: k7 Photo Location: living room ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/60s Aperture: F2.8 

I was trying out old manual lense with 3extension tubes for that poor mans macro. This was the best one, and it needs improvement. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Not bad at all. However, if you could the eye, or the tip of the mouth (don't know what you call it on snakes) in focus, it would really be a winner.
It seems like both the subject and your camera was properly still during the shot, as the scales are perfectly sharp.

I would try again. This is mis-focused and underexposed. Can't correct the first one...

Sharpest focus on the eye is often advisable.
For this photo, you might try increasing contrast with software.
I like the angle of view you chose.
