Alright lets see if I'm improving, and have taken recommendations correctly.

If those settings are right, then the lighting was going to be a tough challenge to get a sharp result.
1/6sec is nowhere near fast enough for that type of capture to get a sharp image.

With the K-7, however, you had the opportunity to step the sensitivity up to even ISO 1600 without too much loss of detail in order to gain the faster shutter speed.

Rule of thumb - shutter speed should be at least 1/FL for static objects, and at least 1/250-1/500 for moving ones.

Ash is right with these low light conditions you really need to up your iso settings with the K-7 (which is what i shoot with) you should be able to put it up to at least iso 400 without noise becoming an issue providing you don’t underexpose the image. also with this type of image (macro) you are never going to get the whole image in focus so make sure that the eye is the central focal point as it will be what draws attention (it looks like you may have missed a bit plus a little motion blur due to the low shutter speed).
