Technically (lighting, comp, crop, etc), I think it is very well done.
Artistically, it seems a little ho-hum, but I'm not really sure why, or what would change that for me.

It seems a little out of balance. The brightly lit book seems too far to the side, and the opposite corner could use a bit of fill.

I agree with Parallax.

I like the shot, one can tell that it is carefully and nicely executed, but the composition is not very exciting for me.

For starters it is too crowded for my taste.
