2 and 3 are great, nice lighting and pose.

However, I don't quite know what's going on with the fourth. The pose seems awkward.
I do like the grain though. Very good style.

These last two sets of portraits you've posted are outstanding. I might be nitpicking here, but in the last photo, I'd really like to see her right eye out of the shadow and into the light.

But really, these are fantastic.

While not constructive at all, this is a comment that every photographer has to address with each and every photo he takes.

Having said that, I do think that the photos are very competently taken though. I love the noise, which really supplements the mood in a very nostalgic way.

Well noise is new "Grain"...grains with film is still very much better, I like it too

I love the last one and through it into my inspiration folder, not so much for her pose (which is very awkward), but for the way the lighting sculpts her. Great light, nice composition in the last image.


(yes, I admit it, I copied it).
