Differences?

I post these for discussion on differing lens types and settings.
Please keep in my mind they are shot in RAW and converted with Lightroom but applying no post processing what so ever.
Don't know if they prove anything, and I do not offer them to make any point, just conversation....about photographs (not popcorn).

To start from the back, the last one i think the lower leaves should be cut out and the main part of the branch should be placed differently, either lower right or lower left. prolly lower right. also it doesnt have eanough light as I see it now. the contrast between the leaves and the background is not so big. some fill on the leaves would solve tht.

3rd. while the branch itself is not overexposed, I get a feeling of overexposure, everthing surrounding it is too bright, again low contrast is a problem.

the first 2 images are very similar. but the small piece of leaf in the first one should not have been there. I prefer the exposure and sharpness of nr 2 but I prefer the dof of nr 1.

I feel the opposite of and in regards to exposure. I enjoy the exposure of the 3rd image and found the others too dark.

The first 2 photos lost me in regards to subject matter. I didn't know if the subject was the web or the plant. The picture was taken too close for me to see the web and the plant as one complete subject, i found myself looking for details.

My favorite would be the third one. This picture was able to strike my other sense and I could almost feel what it's like to be there, which i find lacking in the others.

Nice experimentation there!
