Nature Mushrooms!

This picture was taken in a forest in Romania. The light was gentle so it gave a strong contrast between the mushrooms and the background.

The out of focus ones are too far away from the main subject, making them distracting. They draw the viewers eye there and compete with the in focus ones.

Yes, you could really crop the OOF ones right out. The colours are gorgeous (which suggests you wouldn't want to pick them to make a quiche!). Can you sharpen up the foreground mushrooms at all - they seem a bit soft.
