Highland cattle
Lens: FA 31mm 1.8 Camera: K20D Photo Location: Somewhere near Lochwinnoch ISO: 200 Aperture: F2.8 

...bit concerned that one cow might get the funny idea of running over my back i took this shot ....any comments welcomed. thanks

A nice photo that captures the damp (and probably cold) weather of the location. The composition is good (given that you can't move the cattle!), with the two largest cattle following rule-of-thirds alignment.

However, I can't be certain, but I feel like something has gone wrong in the PP on this shot. Looking at the twigs in the branches, the ends of the cattle's hair and the foreground grass, there is a scratchy sort of highlighting artifact. My guess is that the image has been dramatically over-sharpened...

What have you done to this image so far?
