Lens: 55 to 300 Camera: Pentax KX Photo Location: indiana ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/1000s Aperture: F5.8 

Just a picture i took using the color extract filter wanted to get some opinions about what you think. Thanks in advance.

This is intriguing — eye-catching — and I like it.
I'd be grateful for explanation of "color extract filter." Is this a Photoshop tool?

Purple always stands out against gray, however the problem with this shot is the composition. The flowers also do not look perky or as clean as they should be. Most of them turn away from the camera.

Thanks for the response and color extract is a built in filter in the KX camera. I believe it is also part of photoshop.
