You did well! Hope you were wearing a helmet... I like the blurred vegetation, cycleway and fence, giving a nice sense of freewheeling along, lush colours, sunny day, fresh air. It tells a little story and brings a smile to my face.

1/20 shutter speed is very impressive, handheld on a bike. There's no discernible blur on the guy's helmet.

May I suggest you experiment with different crops? As is, it's a center composition, it might be stronger if you cut a bit off the right side.

Regards,
--Anders.

You have to compromise. Either slower shutter speed, which gives the sense of motion, like you have, but leaves the biker soft, or fast shutter speed to freeze the biker and make him sharp, but you lose the sense of motion. It's very tough for you and the subject to both be moving and still get sharp results at 1/20.

although the image may be a bit soft, I really feel the fast forward motion; makes me feel like I'm moving fast!

Thanks for the feedback guys.. I took about 4-5 pics.. 2 came out as sharp as this one.. was underexposing a bit since have been reading understanding exposure.. and it was suggested to use lower exposure with green..

This was another where subject came out sharp (but he was too far away...)
