I like the way this feels like it's in motion.
Considering the wind lately, it might have been.

I like the framing, and the slightly out of focus petal at about 2:00 "pulls" my eye into the image, even though the oof area can be distracting.

The light fleeting through the petals is beautiful.

On a subjective note, I feel maybe the colors could be more vivid, with just a bit more "pop", although too much would spoil the mood. I tend to like dark and contrasty by my nature, so subjectively I lean that way, sometimes more than most.

I like it shooz... I have the same lens and appreciate how hard it can be to capture these shots well with even the slightest breeze present -- and a 1s shutter has been impossible for me of late; the breeze has just been too stiff these last few weeks.

Overall I like the picture a lot, but I just can't get past the curled petals at 11 and 2 o'clock. Every time my eye settles on the focal subject, it's drawn straight back out to the yellow underside of the oof petal and the bokah-green of the background.

It's a shame, because the pastel green is a beautiful and natural compliment to the purple of the flower.

Thanks for the comments.
I find the petal at the 11 o'clock annoying, the other one adds a bit.
I hear you about the wind. Always a problem with in-situ macro shots.
I will improve on this shot as summer gets here.......
