HDR (subtle, not a bomb of color like other HDRs) image of Sand Arch, Arches NP in Moab, UT. The arch is located between fins of a canyon so there is a harsh contrast of light between the sand, arch, and background. Please feel free to comment/let me know how to improve the shot. Nicely done. Subtle HDR is a nice effect and the almost undisturbed sand adds to a sense of solace, in a good way.

I like this picture very much, but it looks almost like you did some selection around the light area of rock above the arch and missed by a few pixels, because there is a sort of light border around the darker foreground of the arch. Maybe that was just the way the light was, but even if so, it might be less distracting to "fix" it. Also I think you might have been able to get a little more detail in the small triangular area of light below the arch. Of course without hdr you probably wouldn't have any detail at all, so it's great that you got the information in the first place, so you have different options in PP.
