Taken this month in Crested Butte. I originally skipped this image. I'm glad I came back to it.

Same here.
My only suggestion is that your lovely shot may have been passed over because no one thought it could be improved.
Even so, it deserves another go round.

I missed it because I often skip the critiques section. Glad I stopped in, this is a great picture. I really like hte low angle perspective.

Hi

Without any reference point in this shot it looks like it could be somewhere in the Austrian Alps. One could almost imagine to find some Edelweiss flowers. Its a nice shot and I am glad you exhumed it from the grave. My only criticism is (you guessed it) it has a colour cast not yellow this time but blue. I did a simple correction and the biggest improvement, in my opinion, is the sky. The blue looks a bit more pleasing and the clouds don't look blue anymore.

Oh by the way I also sharpened the image up a wee bit but I am not sure if I have overdone it a bit. You want to please yourself mostly but at the same time I guess you also feel you want to please others as well and to strike a balance is always hard.
Anyway, please let me know what you think.

Greetings

Well, one always needs to try different possibilities. In this shot I would tend to not sharpen much. In particular not the flowers which suffer ever so slightly from harsh light shadows and could almost be edited to have a diffused light masked on top, for an even stronger attraction as a light spot. The increase in light was definitely a good thing. On my monitor it appears that the white balance is still a little cold.
