Yummy Cherries
Lens: DA L 18-55mm Camera: K-x Photo Location: Yelagiri, Karnataka, India ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F5.6

Can anything be done for the blown out area in top-center? Any other ways to improve this photograph?

what would help the photo is, to get rid of the burned out higlight (done buy burn and dodge tool, or select the area with the lasso tool and then use levels, curve or brighness to adjust). Also the top part should be darker (lasso tool) to draw your eyes more to the berries. It should all be done in layers, so you still alter the strenght of the effect

You could try a Polarizing Filter to remove some of the reflections. (If you have not eaten the cherries)

Thanks guys for the feedback. I have to LR3 now and need to start reading some book about it. Looks pretty complex as of now, but I'm ready to learn.
