Here is the first shot using my new Pentax M 50mm F1.7 lens. I bought this lens for $9.95 from a local pawn shop! This was shot at F5.6

Beautiful scenery you have there.. and the lens performs very good, sharp with decent contrast.

When I first saw this I inadvertently stopped scrolling just at the bottom of the mountain. I was mesmerized by the contrast of the snow and cloud shadow on the mountain. As a was scrolling down, I had a brief "Oh wow" moment when I caught the lake in the picture. Amazingly both "cropped" and the original are composed very well. I would re-frame this just a hair to get the lake closer to the bottom of the picture.

On a side note, would you sell the lens for 15?

Your picture is one in a long time that is absolutely correct in every way. Colour is correct with no colour cast. Not too many people here achieve this. A very nice shot, you should be proud.

$9.95 eh, don't you feel ashamed when you look into a mirror? A few months ago I picked up a PENTAX 50mm 2.8 Macro (the one with the silly clamp) from a pawn shop and I really felt bad about it :ugh:, but $9.95, too bad.
