I'm in the middle of an assignment using single words as inspiration for a photo. No rules, other than somehow the word should be represented. My word for the day is "POWER". As such, I present:

Excellent concept and a well-executed photo.
I'd enjoy seeing more of your work from the assignment.
Best wishes.

I think you got something very cool here. I love the contrast between two major colors, and the amount of area those two colors occupy. The shapes (the engine compartment and the tire house) are contrasting too. Very nice.

However, I do wonder if there are ways to make it more "powerful." I am not saying that there are, but I wonder if there is. What was the focal length within your zoom when you shot this? I wonder how it would loooif you go really wide, and get really get down and close to the tire, and not be so caught up with the contrasting colors.

That was at 18mm. I could have probably changed the angle up a bit, but it's a 100 mile drive to where that truck sits, so I'm not sure if I'll have a chance to re-frame. I do get where you're going though, it's a good idea.

I really like the lighting, and I like the color as-is. Thanks for posting.

Agree about the shapes and colors. The angle makes it look overpowering and almost menacing.
