Hi!

Nice photo. I have also a little passion to shoot the moon. I am a novice in photography and especially in the DSLR world. So I am still learning and experimenting. Therefore my question might be a little silly.
I wonder a little bit how you managed to take so beight picture with shutter speed 1/4000, aperture F11 and ISO 100. According to my exposure calculation, such a combination of the parameters corresponds to exposure value about 19 EV. The full moon requires exposure about 15 EV and if the moon is not full the lower EV is necessary. Do you did some post-processing by computer? Perhaps the geographic location matters, too. My experience of shooting the moon refers to northern longitudes (I live in Latvia - around the northern 57th parallel). Rio e Janeiro is located much more near the equator. May be, in these longitudes the moon is brighter and the EV values are higher?

Hi Alberts, thank you for the comment.
I don't know about geographic location, it should affect, but i'm not 100% sure.
The fun fact is that i took this picture around 5:20 PM, and the day was still very bright.
And about Post-Production, the original image appears just a bit darker (like 0,3/0,5 stops darker).
That being said, i only increased exposure by a tiny bit and increased clarity a little to make the clouds look better.

I would have not increased the exposure, probably the contrary. I would have process the picture to make it look like a black and gold lacquerware. Anyway, it's a beautiful picture with a great potential. It just look unfinished to my taste.
