Nature Butterfly

Using spot focus with this. I think I should have gone to perhaps maybe f11 as still a little oof in places.

I think it looks soft partially due to the highlights and partially due to the lens itself. You might even want to go to 1/500s if shooting this kind of stuff without a tripod.

I agree with Adam re faster shutter speed, I think some of the softness is due to motion blur, try increasing ISO a bit to give the the F stop you want at 1/500 or even 1/1000 to overcome motion blur due to being hand held and/or subject moving in the breeze, and maybe try manual focus.
