EV +0.7. Shot at 160mm. Single light source. A Metz Mecablitz 58 AF-2 was to the right of the camera, slightly above the subject, mounted in a home-made softbox.
Cropping, desaturation, a boost in contrast and brightness, a tiny bit of sharpening, and some slight vignetting was done in post processing.
This was my first attempt at trying to get some good shots out of my completely improvised "studio". This was my favorite of the session. I wish it had been a bit sharper, but she was continually in motion.

Great capture in all aspects - composition, light, expression! And this was your first attempt, wow!

Nice shot! I'd just soften the white dot on her nose a little..my eyes are drawn there.

Nice shot, the contrst isn´t too my liking though (but that is just a personal thing, many other will like it). Other than that, nice job, especially with moving kid. Damn though to get nice shots of them.
