Overall I think the first is the best, as the composition is nice and the colors play well together. However, across the board the colors seem a little bit dull- they'd certainly benefit from a little bit of post-processing.

In the second shot, the background is too busy and the flower doesn't really stand out- it blends in with the rest too easily. In the third, I'd play around with a few crops and maybe even clone out that car: remember that whenever you frame something in your photos, you've got to make sure it's actually interesting

The fourth might work better as a vertical, though I'd focus on fixing the sky and the colors first.

I was able to remove the car in the third photo as well as the signs. Having some trouble with the fourth photo and fixing the sky, but I was able to deepen the colors. I'm using photoscape btw. (I'm a student :P)

Question for the first and second shot, were they taken via viewfinder or liveview?

All were taken by viewfinder.

My favorite is the first one, I like the composition, but the colors are a lil too dark for me. And next time for "macro" shots try to play with live view. (Correct me if I'm wrong) Because the k-r is notoriously known to have front and back focus issues via viewfinder. I found out last night that my K-r also has it but I played around with the lens compensation thing and got it close to a view finder focus(But you don't have to worry about it though, just have fun with your camera shoot shoot shoot)
