You should consider purchasing prime lens for indoor shooting.

Thank you both for attention and advice.
Winada; honestly thinking about buying a Pentax 15/4 or Sigma 20/1, 8 At the time of these photos, I had only a Pentax 50/1, 4, which is not exactly designed for shooting moving objects.

What makes you believe this?
According to the EXIF you were shooting with the zoom at 47 mm focal length, nearly identical to the 1,4/50. But the prime lens has a muuuccchhhh better IQ and would have given you the chance to use a much shorter exposure time. Set se lens to f=2,8, get up the ISO to 400 ... 800 which ist still ok for the K10 and you have the chance for some great shots.

Hi,
From the very beginning, my K10D has a problem with higher ISO. Believe me I'm in different situations with different lenses, with all the possible continuation of the program, aperture, exposure, received photos with lots of noise. In processing the final product gets an unwanted softness. All coincide within the limits of "digestible" if the model or models are not in the fast movements, which the dance is almost not possible! Is time for change, so that said Bruce Davidson?

To be honest, it sounds to me more like a problem with manual focusing. For your shot you used an exposure of 1/20 at f5.6. If you would have used your 50 at f2.8 you would get a similar result with an exposure of 1/80. Therefor you should get rid of some motion blur.

Hi Davidw0815!
This photo was shot with a tripod and wired remote control. I found myself on the balcony of the theater, and it is quite clear from the point of view! It would probably be a much better shot if I used the Sigma 70-200 / 2.8!
regards Velja
